Interview With A Blogger | Emtalks

Hello my loves and welcome to my first post of the New Year.! This year I’ll be continuing my interview with a blogger series and I’m super excited to have to have Em Sheldon from Emtalks on the blog.!

Em is one of my favorite UK bloggers. You can find anything from beauty & fashion to fitness & wellbeing on her blog and I’m obsessed with her YouTubevideos.! – every time I watch any of her try on haul videos I’m like ‘yup adding THAT to my basket.!‘ I’ve gotten many an outfit on her recommendation!

I was so delighted that Em was able to take the time to answer a few of my questions…

I always like to start off with a easy question (but some might say the most important) – Tea or Coffee?

Tea! I love green tea but then again, I am a sucker for a latte but I’ll go with tea as it’s the thing I drink the most! I am from Yorkshire too so maybe that’s why, Yorkshire tea is famous haha.

What made you decide to start blogging?

I started blogging as a way to show my love for writing on my personal statement for my university application.

You have great style – where do you find your inspiration?

Thank you – I don’t really find my style anywhere, I just go on the new in section of sites FAR too much and order stuff and try it. My rule is to just try new things and see what looks good.

What’s your favorite fashion magazine?

I rarely read magazines anymore but I used to LOVE Glamour as it’s a little bit more fun. I also love Womens Health as it’s got some good facts and insights in there rather than just photos

Heels or flats?

Heels, they elongate my legs! Gotta be comfy ones with a chunky heel though – the struggle is real.

Long nails or short?

Long – I go to an amazing salon called RagDoll Nails and I LOVE how they shape my nails.

Online or real life shopper?

Definitely online. I get flustered in busy stores and queuing isn’t fun but sometimes it is quicker and better to try stuff on in store, I just prefer to do it at home haha.

Who’s your favorite blogger?

I love Rosie Londoner and Tash Oakley.

What keeps you motivated to blog after all this time?

My passion for so many topics and the fact people say my posts help them, that really inspires me.

Celebrity girl crush?

Ariana Grande of course!

Favorite cocktail?

Mojito or expresso martini.

Facebook or Instagram?

Instagram but now they’re both owned by Facebook it’s a shame as I feel they may kill instagram!

Last thing you bought?

A new chair for my new home.

What are some of your current beauty/ fashion obsessions?

I love Neutrogena hydroboost serum and Buxom lip colours.

Next holiday destination?

Oooo hopefully Mexico.

If you could banish one trend – what would it be?

Chunky trainers, they just don’t suit me haha.

Favorite quote?

A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor.

What are you currently watching on Netflix?

I need to start properly watching YOU.

If you could only buy your clothes from one store from now on – where would it be?

Definitely Topshop.

It’s not hard to tell what beauty product I couldn’t go without …mascara.! – but if you could only use one product what would it be?

I think I’d say lip balm! Fresh do an amazing one.
